We are excited, once again, to be the Dog First Aid Sponsor for Furry Scurry 2024. This annual event put on by the Denver Dumb Friends League (as well as other donations throughout the year) helps to provide specialized and compassionate care in the fight to end pet homelessness and animal suffering in our community.
Following the 2-mile walk/fun run on May 4, the event will continue with a family-friendly festival, including a Colorado Disk Dog demonstration, agility demonstration, contests for people and pets, a Flea(less) market, and food trucks. As the event’s Dog First Aid Sponsor, we will be on site at Washington Park to support pets and their people in case of emergency. Stop by to see us! We’ll have fun giveaways for humans and dogs.
More About the Cause
For the last 31 years, the annual Furry Scurry has been an important fundraiser benefiting the animals at the Dumb Friends League and supporting the vital mission of ending pet homelessness and animal suffering. Fundraisers like the Furry Scurry are essential for the Dumb Friends League to provide life-changing services (such as medical treatment, behavioral services, foster care, and loving homes) for homeless pets and horses who come to their shelters every day. Last year, the Denver Dumb Friends supported more than 44,000 animals and provided more than 400,000 nights of shelter,

Registration Is Simple for Furry Scurry 2024!

- Now through May 1: $60 for adults and $35 for children 6-12 (children 5 years and under are FREE)
- May 3-4 (onsite only): $65 for adults and $40 for children
- Virtual/Remote participation: $45

- One Furry Scurry Flyer Disc for participating dog or dogs

Other Ways to Support Furry Scurry 2024
If you wish to walk alongside the Furry Scurry community, the official event day is Saturday, May 4, 2024, in Washington Park from 9:00 a.m. – noon (Registration opens at 7:30 a.m.). But, you can register now and walk any time through May 24 to contribute to the fundraising effort. Don’t forget to share your photos and videos on Facebook or LinkedIn using #furryscurry2024.
