Continuing Education
Continuing Education for our Veterinary Professional Partners
Veterinary Specialists of the Rockies is dedicated to continuing education (CE) for our staff and yours within the Colorado veterinary community. We are passionate about learning and promoting growth in the veterinary field, as well as being a part of our supportive community and in building relationships with others.
We offer a variety of educational CE lectures and events throughout the year geared towards veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and other veterinary paraprofessionals. It is our honor and pleasure to promote the advancement of knowledge for your staff and to help your team stay on top of the latest advancements and care. In order to accommodate busy schedules while still offering opportunities to network with other professionals, we offer a combination of virtual and in-person sessions, following CDC guidelines for events.
PARTNERS IN PRACTICE LECTURES
Our Partners in Practice lectures are free and are offered throughout the year. Presented by our credentialed veterinary technicians and emergency and specialty veterinarians, our sessions are open to your entire staff.
Seating is limited, so for more information regarding upcoming CE programs, please check back regularly. We also invite you to join our Veterinary Professionals Email List for monthly news and special invitations.
*For all CE lectures hosted at Veterinary Specialists of the Rockies, we ask that you please arrive 15 minutes early to check-in. This will also give you time to meet and network with colleagues upon arrival before we begin the lecture and ensure that you receive all available credits.
Lunch & Learns
If there is a specific topic that you would find beneficial, Veterinary Specialists of the Rockies also offers the opportunity for our community of veterinary practices to schedule Continuing Education Lunch and Learns at their locations. We will work with your schedules to coordinate the best day and time for one of our specialists to lecture at your practice on a topic of your choice. We receive RACE or CACVT CE credit, pending approval for each hour-long lecture. Sessions are free, and we will even bring lunch for the participants!
Contact Hospital Administrator Tammi Morrison to find out more or to schedule a Lunch and Learn CE program for your practice. Please include your interested lecture(s), a few date options (allow 30 days lead time), and any other information you’d like to discuss regarding Lunch and Learns. We’ll take it from there!
