Going to an emergency vet is never a fun experience but these wonderful people were there for us twice. The first time we were able save our little old guy, the second time we weren’t but we honestly couldn’t have asked for better staff in navigating one of the worst experiences in life. We had an emergency with our cat. They were responsive and caring from the initial phone call until the end. . . We felt that everyone there truly cared, from the receptionist to the vet tech to the DVM. We are truly blessed to live in an area that has this level of care. They made a very hard choice and night the very best that it could be under the conditions and we are forever grateful.

I arrived at the vet at 6 am on a Sunday and waited 2.5 hours to be seen, but I think that’s fairly normal for any ER . . . The costs was surprisingly low, as well. I honestly don’t think the regular vet would have been any cheaper had this occurred during normal business hours. I’m grateful to have such an awesome ER vet so close to home!!

We had a need for an emergency vet while visiting in Colorado. We were so lucky to find Veterinary Specialists of the Rockies… We brought our pup in and were so pleased with the quality of service and how well our baby was treated. The owner Dr. Rector took the time to explain everything to us and to calm our fears. Highly recommend this place!
