What is red, white, blue, and a blast for the whole family? For us, it’s the 2019 Red White and You Patriotic Parade and Festival at Bison Park in The Meadows, Castle Rock. Celebrate Independence Day and join in the fun including a kid’s parade, concessions, music, and more on Thursday, July 4 from 11-1 p.m.
The family-focused July 4th Meadows celebration is fast becoming a tradition in Castle Rock. A favorite part of the day is the annual Patriotic Parade, which starts at 11:15am. Kids are invited to help decorate bikes, trikes, and other tot transports and dress for the occasion. Parents can join in with decorated strollers and wagons, with the kids playing the starring roles in the adorable parade around the park. Everyone is welcome to join in the festive march!
After the Patriotic Parade, take time to relax with friends and neighbors or try the inflatable rides, trackless train rides, and other activities. There will be FREE cotton candy, hot dogs from the Boy Scouts, Kona Ice Truck shaved ice and plenty of fun for everyone.
