Furry Scurry 2021 – Virtual Event to Help End Pet Homelessness and Save Animals
NOTE: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Furry Scurry continues in 2021 as a virtual event.
The Dumb Friends League’s annual signature fundraising event is taking place virtually again this year. But that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t all step up and get our steps in between now and May 31, 2021, to help animals! Though the official walk day is Saturday, May 1, just be sure to register and then walk anytime between now and May 31, 2021, to help save animals.
Get fit and have fun by joining Veterinary Specialists of the Rockies for this important effort to help furry friends in need. As the event’s Dog First Aid Sponsor, we are helping pet owners with information on pet health and wellness. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your pet’s health, you can call us at 303.660.1027. Our emergency and specialty vet hospital is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
To get in on the Furry Scurry action to help homeless pets, you can walk as an individual or inspire your friends and family in Colorado or around the country to join you and create a team. From your home treadmill, local park, or mountain trail – however you want to participate, your efforts and exercise help pets in need–including dogs, cats, and even horses! In 2020 alone, Dumb Friends League helped over 20,000 animals!
Furry Scurry 2021 registration is simple and similar to last year:
- Now through April 30: $45 for adults and $25 for children 12 and younger
- May 1 – May 31: $50 for adults and $30 for children
Registered participants receive:
- A fun, collectible Furry Scurry t-shirt
- A printable “race” bib
- A virtual event day kit
- Exclusive Furry Scurry swag incentive gifts for fundraising beyond the amount of your entry fee
- Easy access to fun offers from vendors and sponsors (like us!)
- Access to the pick-up party at a future date to celebrate

The official race day is Saturday, May 1, 2021 — though you can walk anytime and contribute to the fundraising effort through May 31, 2021.
