Dr. Abigail Ayre, DVM, is an Emergency Veterinarian for Veterinary Specialists of the Rockies. Raised in Kansas, she attended Kansas State University and calls it her second home.

Her passions outside the workplace include skiing and snowboarding, golfing, crafting, playing video games, cheering on the Kansas State Wildcats, playing instruments, and training dogs. She and her long-time companion, Luda, were a competitive frisbee dog team, having competed against hundreds of teams in dozens of countries. They placed in the top 25 most seasons. Although Luda has long-since passed, she carries his dog tags to keep him by her side. She Iooks forward to training her next companion for competition in a number of events.

Dr. Ayre is excited to be part of the veterinary profession and is looking forward to serving the Castle Rock community.
