Steph started working in emergency and critical care as a Technician Assistant while she attended Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology. While attending school, she discovered her passion for critical care medicine. Her experience includes a year in general practice and nine years as an emergency technician. Steph has lived in Colorado since she was ten years old, originally residing in the Chicago area.

Outside of work, Steph enjoys the outdoors where she loves skiing, hiking and paddle boarding. She has four dogs: Sebastian, a Labrador; Zoe, an Australian Kelpie; Elvis, a Dachshund mix; and Harley, a Chihuahua. She also has a cat named Bonkers.
