Dr. Heidi Servi is an Emergency Veterinarian for Veterinary Specialists of the Rockies. Heidi moved to Colorado 5 years ago and is originally from Chicago. She worked as a Certified Veterinary Technician in the surgery department of a specialty hospital for 6 years where she developed a strong interest in both emergency medicine as well as physical rehabilitation and alternative healing modalities for post-operative patients.
Wanting to pursue additional education and a change of scenery, she decided to move to Madison where she completed her undergraduate degree in Biology followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2008. After several years working in private practice she elected to complete a one-year internship focused on Emergency and Critical Care at Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, yoga, hiking, camping and enjoying all Colorado has to offer with her partner, twin boys and daughter. She is excited to have just moved to Castle Rock and is looking forward to hopefully adopting a puppy soon to add to the current clan of four precocious cats, one adorable Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix and a menagerie of freshwater fish. She recently passed her veterinary acupuncture exams and is in the process of completing her IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society) certification.
